You will be happy to know that on assessment, this mums nipples were
perfectly normal. The baby is not able to attatch though, but will
suck well on a finger. I can't find anything wrong with the baby
orally, the positioning is good, Mum is doing all the right things,
the baby is making all the right responses to breastfeeding, ie.
searching, gape, good flanging of lips, but after all that just sits
there and won't suck (little horror!!!!!). He is jaundiced but seems
alert enough, I am working on it.
