Dear friends,
We've received this message in our WABA guestbook, please, someone could
help us sending an answer to Paige Ericson? It's a very interesting
situation and can be a good opportunity to "advocacy" - especially for the
US citizens!
Thanks in advance,
Denise Arcoverde

>I do not have a message but would really appreciate your help/input. I
have just returned to work from maternity leave and after two months I was
informed that I could not use the refrigerator for the pumped milk. I work
for the Federal government and would think that with so much emphasis on
family, they would be more accomodating, but I am finding out the opposite.
Do you know of any laws that protect my rights or that they must accomodate
me? I have told them that my son comes first and may have to take more time
off if I can't pump at work (until he's a year old-in 6 months). Now they
are watching my every move (clocking my breaks when I pump). I hope that if
you can't help that you could please refer me to someone in the states.
Thank you!
