When is the circumcision performed in
your area?  BEFORE THE INFANT IS DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL
Have you found it to be useful to postpone the surgery in
order to facilitate breast feeding and bonding?  NOT AN OPTION IN MY

negative effect on the length of time mothers breast feed?   OUR BABES
GO TO BREAST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE CIRC, AND USUALLY NURSE WELLWhat

there any interventions that limit the problems with breast feeding,

as medications or positions? OUR BABES GET EMLA CREAM APPLIED TO THE
PENIS FOR 1 TO 1.5 HOURS PRIOR TO THE CIRC , ONE DOC HAS JUST STARTED
DOING LIDOCAINE INJECTION JUST UNDER THE SKIN NEAR THE BASE OF THE
PENIS, NOT A DORSAL BLOCK
