Dear Stephanie, "Gradually, with love." Reread chapter 14 of WABF(1997),
pp.241-256. And substitute your situation in the obvivous places. You're
kind of stuck, because you made an ethical committment when you took this
mom on as a client. Also what would you be doing if she still needed
concrete help (ie: baby wasn't gaining, latch wasn't fixed, etc.). Does
"fixing" have to be concrete for you to feel you can do it? Reread
Barbara's note from yesterday. Sometimes this takes 2-3 mo. Sometimes they
become friends and allies for life! Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
