You might want to share the revised Breastfeeding Answer Book with her Dr.  It
might not even be necessary for mom to wean this baby.  It states "the risk of
transmission of hepatitis C through breastfeeding is considered minimal."  It
goes on from there.  If you need more e-mail me privately.

For the fullness she could use cabbage leaves on the breast.  It's very
soothing and brings down the fullness.
