Hi Everybody:
I am very interested in the details of the information Anthony Williams
gave about the main factor in IDDM being genetics, and not feeding. There are
so many studies that show the contrary, that formula, particularly soy, is
strongly implicated in the development of juvenile onset diabetes. The AAP in
1994 rcommended that if there is a family history of IDDM, to avoid cows milk
products during the first year of life, to reduce risk. And there are some
clinical animal studies showing that there is 2x more IDDM in the soy formula
fed group. So, dear Chris Wood, are there any more details? Warmly, Nikki
