In a previuos post Dr Jack had said that a 7 month old who
was breifly not BF doesnt need formula.
Jack, do you mean this for short term or that if a baby was weaned
 at 7 months he could be given cows milk instead of formula?
I was taught not to give infants cows milk in the first year for
reasons of vitamin/mineral absorption and occult blood
loss.
