They should all be fine. I don't have any information about Japanese
encephalitis immunizations, but if it's safe enough to inject a human
adult with it, it should be okay for a nursing mother. Probably it is
an attenuated virus and likely, as with all things the mother takes,
will appear in the milk in only tiny amounts. Weakened and in tiny
amounts, does not amount to risk, I would say. Especially coming
through with breastmilk. Might make the baby immune. Don't forget we
recommend many of these immunizations for babies, including Hepatitis
B which is given at birth.
