NO!! Human milk is NOT considered a bodily fluid for which "universal
precautions" must be followed, according to the US Centers for Disease
Control. The December 1997 Journal of Human Lactation has a good article on
this. The CDC is THE reference source for this information in the US. The
WHO is the reference source worldwide, and is even less worried about human
milk than the CDC.
Ask the guy who's accusing BF of being a biohazard for HIS references. If
he's discounting the CDC report, who does he think overrules them? Perhaps
he has been listening to too many ABM marketing people whispering in his
ear.
