A former client came to see me yesterday about a milky discharge from
the nipple. She stopped lactating well over a year ago. She has always
suffered from cystic breasts as well as uterine cysts. The mammogram
showed nothing but the woman continues to have pain, off and on from an
area (lump) about the size of a walnut above the areola. I sent her
back to her doctor about this, but I'm wondering if it could possibly be
a cyst in the milk duct? Could this cause a milk-like discharge?
What would be the treatment for something like this?
