I'm preparing a presentation and would like to start from a basic point:
What are the overall objectives of a Mother/Baby unit?

I'm looking for sort of a textbook definition - something more specific
than "create a safe, secure envrionment for mom & baby, help develop a
sense of family, foster an environment for learning" and something far
less specific than "the baby must pee after circumcision before being
discharged".

Any quick thoughts?
