When a formula company offers a coupon off purchase, or whatever, and that
coupon is sent in, what they get is the person's address and name! They
SELL these lists to other formula companies (and Lord knows how many
others!). Thus, the value of the coupon reply represents far more than
simply one client contact. It means they can maintain contact over a long
period through continual mailings.
This is not something I would consider appropriate as a "needed" service
for most breastfeeding mothers. What do you think?
