Hi all,
Pat Gima's post about the family's nutritional status coming up as
mom worked to maintain breastfeeding and increase her baby's iron intake
made me think of one of the Series Meetings for La Leche League.
The fourth meeting in the series of four, is roughly "Nutrition and
Weaning" one of the questions suggested for discussion is, "How has your and
your family's nutrition habits changed since breastfeeding?" Answers vary
widely, but generally the trend is toward a healthier more balanced, or at
least more thought about, diet.
Of course League also sells/publishes a number of good books on the
subject, including cookbooks with fast, simple, kid-tested recipe's.

aLLLways,
Anne
