Hello...

My name is Karen Koonce and I am a LLL Leader.  I have recently
resubscribe to Lactnet and skimmed the last few weeks of the archives to
see what the latest topics have been.  I noticed with interest the
thread about babies who knead the breast or twiddle the other nipple
while nursing.

An online acquaintance (who at the time was nursing a 3 or 4 year old)
once asked her nursling why he would knead her breasts while he nursed.
His answer: "It makes the milkies come faster."  Guess that verifies the
theories!
