Today's issue of Parade, came with the Chicago Tribune. Story about Jane
Seymour:
"And in October, 1996, Seymour became an ambassador for UNICEF. Last February
she went with her husband to El Salvador to encourage new mothers to
breastfeed. 'The infant mortality rate in El Salvador is high becaue their
polluted water is mixed iwth baby formula,' said Seymour. 'I think my going
made a difference, because the women knew that I'd recently had twins. So
when I advocated bf and said that I breast-fed my babies they understood that
it was socially acceptable."
So, three cheers for Jane S., and for the Parade for printing it.
Jan B -- in Wheaton where it is warmish and wet.
