Hello there lactnetters. I have a question. The other Peer Counselor that
I work with is leaving. She is moving to another state. There is not a
very good Peer Counselor program up there. She would like to start her own
consult business. Is there any regulations for this? Does she have to be a
Certified Lactation Consultant before she can do this? If this is okay,
what would she call herself. I don't think that she can still be considered
a Peer Counselor if she is not with WIC anymore. She asked me these
questions--so I thought that I would ask all of you.

Carrie
