Lactose intolerance would not present only with vomiting.  If the mother
gave her own milk in a bottle (without the lactase drops) the baby would
probably not vomit either.  It is *the method of delivery* that is the
problem, not the milk.  The mother just has an abundant supply, that's
all.  She should finish one side, letting the baby fall off the breast
himself, and only offer the other if the baby is still hungry.

If the baby is gaining and content, what is the problem with the
regurgitation (vomiting), besides extra laundry?  Breastfeeding is worth
the trouble.  And it will get better.

I wouldn't stop breastfeeding for that reason.
