I also saw Chicago Hope...What a great way to end the show on such a
positive note. I thought a lot about the whole situation later. It really
said a lot...the relationship between mother and daughter as
presented...the fact that the Mother/grandmother allowed herself to be
handcuffed to her daughter to allow her to stay out of detention center,
etc. It portrayed a very positive view of BF (and the worthiness of LC's!)
even in women we sometimes don't see as our "ideal" clients. Would you
expect a "rough around the edges" mom to tell you she BF for 5 years?
Reminds me of a well-tattooed "motorcycle Mama" I worked with a few years
ago... Anyway, I think I may start keeping a log of all the media
portrayals of Bf I come across...might come in handy someday! Hang
