Bells Palsy is related to PP, in that it is common ages 20-40 (child
bearing ages), but it affects males as often as females. There is also
some speculation that it may be related to fluid retention immed pp. But
there is really no known cause or cure. Cortisone is used and GCS
(generally considered safe). Moist heat, gentle massage may also help.
Eye may need protection (artificial tears and/ or patching). Sincerely,
Pat in SNJ
