Growth hormone is normally produced by the body.  Some people genetically do
not produce enough/any growth hormone, and they must receive it from outside
sources if they are to grow normally.  It used to be harvested from
cadavers, but is now produced synthetically in the laboratory.  As far as I
know, this has absolutely no relation to breastfeeding, but is a genetic
problem.
