I am trying to get information for a mom who is pregnant and has a long
history of needing SSRIs. She wants to know why Paxil or Zoloft are
considered preferable to Proxac for breastfeeding. I have quoted from Dr.
Hale's book and what I could get from the archives (this was my first attempt
to access the archives and I have found it difficult despite following
directions to get exactly what I need, so please forgive me for asking for
info I know is there). I wonder, Dr. Hale, if you would be willing to send me
a paragraph summing it up. Or anyone else who has specific information. You
can e-mail me privately or post on Lactnet. Much appreciated. Miriam
