The other goofball thing to make sure you mention on your
conference folder is, "Bring a sweater or light jacket, as hotel conf
rooms are notoriously difficult to make climactically comfortable for
everyone." Our first year, probably 1/3 of the comments were, " Too hot."
Too cold. Too hot. Too cold."
Even with a comment like the above in the conference brochure, we still see
these types of comments no matter where we hold a conference and despite
the measures we go to to make learners comfortable, including comfortable
seating, tasty refreshments and adequate climate control. Are some of our
learners that attend conferences just spoiled? Next think you know, we'll
be rubbing their feet! : D
My favorite post course evaluation comment was "No meat and cheese tray"
Can you believe it!!!???
