Hi Lactnetters,

I figured out (OK, Jan Barger helped) where the 70% came from.  On Ross's
Market Survey's, the one sheet that has NON-WIC for year total 1996, had 70.8
for total BF, 59.3 for BF alone and 11.5 for BF and supplement, in hospital.
 At 6 months, BF was 29.5, BF alone was 17.1 and BF and Supplement was 12.4.
 You can see why one can market that if you supplement the baby, then the BF
rate will go up.  WOW !!!!!
