Dads certainly can be useful in many ways.  I remember a mom whose milk
finally came in on day seven -- "you know why it came in, don't you?" she
says.  I looked at her questioningly...she pointed to the (very
sheepish-looking) dad in the corner.
"Oh! Great!"  says I.
(Best training for being an LC:  my mom, whose favorite phrase is "it
takes all kinds to make a world!")
