Did the baby not GROW?  Or just NOT GAIN ANY WEIGHT?  Is the baby's head
circumference increasing?  Is he outgrowing his shoes?  Is he getting
taller?  Is he nursing plenty?  How much did he weigh at birth and how much
at 12 months?   How is his motor and verbal and cognitive development?  Are
they on schedule?  Is he walking?  Beginning to talk?  Happy?  Healthy?  Is
he given lots of opportunities to eat a variety of foods?

My son didn't gain any weight for 9 months during his second year of life.
He started out WAY above the 95th percentile and came down to JUST above the
95th percentile.  He was 9 lbs. 2.5 oz. at birth and something like 36
pounds for most of his second year.  Way big.  He was growing fine, he just
wasn't gaining any weight.

Without more information, one can't decide in a case like this if there is
truly a problem or just a mom/doc overly concerned with weight.
