Someone needs to bring to their attention that in fact, whether moms are SAH or working, the breastfeeding rate stays about the same. SAH moms, what ever their economic and social status, do not have higher breastfeeding rates than working moms do. This data was cited on Lactnet within the last year, but I do not know the source.
I also wouldn't have a clue as to what search words to use to find it. What do y'all suggest? Or is the original poster of this information still with us, and would he/she be so kind to post it again. I use this info, frequently, to counter exactly what the newspaper said, proferred by many bottlefeeding moms. Even though I say there is research that shows, without presenting the literature references, it makes a lot of people stop and think.
