Just a curious question. I weaned my youngest over 7 years ago. While I
was still nursing, I did not find it distracting at all to hear babies at
conferences--I was barely conscious of their gurgles and fussings. I can
remember thinking "What is all the fuss about, having babies at conferences
...it's no trouble at all."
I weaned my youngest 7 years ago. I find it interesting that I am now
becoming more and more conscious of baby noises at conferences. Each year
I find these sweet noises more distracting.
Now tell me, am I abnormal [ ;} ], or is this experience shared by other
moms of older children? If this is common, what mechanism is at work
here??
Curious minds.....
