I bought Redbook because I liked the cover and hoped that enough people
would buy it and thus give the editors nice strokes (in the form of
money) to think they did a good thing, which they did, sort of. I also
am amazed that anyone would object to the cover, especially considering
that the second page of ads for women's underwear shows a woman
practically naked. I'll bet they didn't change *that one* for their
subscribers. But as everyone knows these magazines are not about
content. They are about advertising.
