I was interested in reading Betty Krumwiede's posting, because I had an
enquiry yesterday about a mother with a 6 month old who has just been
diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Her milk supply was fine, baby thriving
(on solids now but only just began). Presumably then the hyperthyroidism
did not effect her milk supply.
I wonder with this mother if she has a high estrogen level, perhaps this
could affect her milk supply or perhaps she has retained placenta or
something unrelated to this condition.
I will read your posts with interest!
