As you also note, Dr. Hale describes doses of 600 mg/day suppressing
lactation, but I would also watch for decreased milk supply with the doses
above. One of my last suggestions in my repertoire for decreasing
overabundant milk supplies to manageable levels is 100 mg B6 twice a day
(so 200 mg/day). Mothers do usually have a drop in milk production with
that dose. The reason it's at the tail end of management suggestions is
because, as Dr. Hale notes, mom's milk reflects the higher intake.
