I am in the situation too, My son seemed hungry for solids but he hated the
spoon! He didn't like anything accept cereal out of a bottle...I stopped for
a while and then tried again...I started adding a little fruit in the morning
cereal and a little veggie in the evening one...He now taked almost a whole
jar of fruit mixed in with the morning cereal and almost a whole jar of
veggies in the evening...I got him to take a spoon, well kind of...He takes a
bite, swallows it and starts crying...Sooo I just do the bottle thing for
now...At his 6 month check our nurse practioner told me it didn't matter if
he didn't take solids for a while, that Breast was Best for the first
year!!!!
Hope this helps!
