A FRIENDLY but FIRM REQUEST for all Lactnetters:
I have noticed a decided increase in requests for references from people
using LACTNET to learn about/discuss cases relating to breastfeeding.
This group now numbers more than 1600. When you need a reference, please
CHECK THE ARCHIVES for LACTNET first BEFORE asking for references. In many
cases, your questions will be answered with far greater detail and you will
get the references you need by doing so. In most cases where references
have been requested, the topics in question have been discussed more than
once on LACTNET in the (nearly) three years it has been in existence.
Do not ask people to do your work for you. Please do a bit of homework
before asking for assistance. It is easy to access the Archives. If you
are not sure how to do this, go back to your WELCOME message which you were
asked to save when you first joined LACTNET. The website address for the
ARCHIVES is also listed at the beginning of EVERY LACTNET DIGEST for easy
referral.
Many thanks from the co-mothers....
