Felicia,

My third child was a pincher. It was very painful and uncomfortable.
What worked for me was, taking a long shoe string and designing a lovely
necklace with large colorful wooden beads of different shapes to hang
around my neck during breastfeeding. Most of the time, the baby chose
to play with the necklace during feedings instead of pinching me. For
the arm that wraps around your waist, sometimes I had to position the
baby with that arm along the baby's side were it would be pinned between
our bodies.

Good Luck,
Assunta Osterholt, IBCLC
