Of course, resistance can vary from place to place, even from one city
to another. Amoxycillin will work if the bug is *not* staph aureus
(say, strep) or if the staph does not produce penicillinase. However,
around this area, antibiotics have so long been abused, that most
staph does produce penicillinase.
Amoxycillin sometimes *appears* to work, as I mentioned in the first
post.
