Hi, all,  I think I have answered each person, individually, but in case I missed someone -- thank you all for sending references and information and sharing your personal stories.  With all the discussions and support pouring in, I had made up my mind to go ahead.  And when the surgeon called today and said she could do the surgery this Friday (instead of December 10 or January 16), I didn't even have to think twice to schedule it.

Thank you all, and  if you get a moment, think of me, Friday.
