Hi,
        The child protective service case I am involved with as an IBCLC
has been decided. The parents will be able to take him home when he is
released from the hospital on Monday. They will have to take parenting
classes and have home visits from a public health nurse.

        I was not allowed to testify because it was a closed hearing but
the letter that I wrote was submitted into record and the lawyer thought
that it helped. :)

        I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that wrote to encourage me
in my testimony. And to say that Liz Baldwin is a fantastic resource. She
is incredible, full of ideas and facts. She was more than helpful.

        Once again Lactnet has worked wonders!
