A mother with an 11 month old has started to take Betahistine
Dihydrochloride - 16mg - 6 tablets per 24 hours - for an inner ear
disorder. She nurses quite a lot. Although the pharmacist says very
little gets into the milk, the mother is worried about increased dosage.
She may need to take the drug for a while.

Susan Nachman-Srebrnik, IBCLC
