Dear all, Kathleen Auerbach has kindly said I could post her message to me re
storage capacity of breasts.
<< Actually storage capacity IS related to breast size. Not an old wives'
tale. The best research on this has been done in Perth, Australia by that
renown group of Daly and Hartmann and their colleagues. They contend that
storage capacity has NOTHING to do with volume of milk mother is capable of
making, only the mother's ability to store for long periods between
feedings. I have been to their lab and was most impressed with all they
are doing. They have a way of measuring that does NOT require invasive
procedures..... most fascinating....
If you are near a library, look up their many studies. You may find them
most interesting.>>
You can teach an old dog new tricks, thank you Kathleen A.
