Tamara,

My daughter has been on synthroid since 1990  and breastfed my grandson for
at least 8 months.
He is a very intelligent little boy.
Let the physicians show the mom documented info that synthroid is
contraindicated while breastfeeding.
Chemical Agents and Breast Milk:A  Comprehensive list of Drugs and other
Agents and their Effects on the Nursing Infant under thyroid hormones states:
Amount in milk: insignificant
Effect on infant: Insignificant .......The use of thyroid hormones may be
considered compatible with nursing.
Sorry, Dr. Hale, I don't have your excellent book with me at this time.
