Metoclopramide inhibits dopamine secretion by nuclei in the hypothalamus
of the brain.  Dopamine inhibits prolactin secretion.  Thus, prolactin
rises, and would do so in any person.  This is why dopamine inhibitors
can be used to start lactation in women wanting to nurse an adopted
baby, or why they can be used to help mothers relactate.  Dopamine
inhibitors do not affect the milk ejection reflex.
