Miconazole may be used on the nipples.  The company *always* says
their particular drug cannot be used.  The reason is that the company
doesn't care about mothers and babies.  It cares about its medicolegal
responsibility.

Gentian violet works very well much of the time.  I find nystatin
useless, and miconazole not much better.
