There was an article about the new AAP recommendations in yesterday's
(12/19/97) "Palm Beach Post" (south Florida, USA) by Leigh Hopper, Palm Beach
Post-Cox News Service. It listed the article as having come from Austin,
Texas but doesn't say that it is an Associated Press Article.
The title: "Mother's milk is 'liquid gold' for healthy babies", and had
quotes from several employed nursing mothers, plus Barbara Wilson-Clay and
Kathy Dettwyler (the article referred to her as Kathy, *I* wouldn't be so
familiar!). Was this article published nationwide? It was very well written
and positive, I thought, and had a little box of information on the Benefits
of Breast-feeding [sic] for mothers, for babies, and for employers.
Lisa Jones, LLLL in Wellington Florida.
