I know it's the eight day, don't know why I said 7.  Oh well.....and yes,
the wine soaked gauze is important.  I've heard that it is also given
throughout the ceremony.  There are studies of giving baby boys something
sweet to suck on or even just a pacifier, and that makes a difference in
how baby reacts.  The way circs are done in US hospitals is rather barbaric
