Jane Bradshaw's wonderful post about gathering info and dealing with
doctors, and her comment, also made by others, that preschoolers are
notoriously erratic eaters, made me realize breastfeeding has yet another
bonus on which the child's doctors might be sold: it is the only
*absolutely consistent* part of this child's diet! However bad or sleepy
or rambunctious or quirky the day, this child *does* nurse in the morning
and *does* nurse at bedtime. Guaranteed. Why remove the only reliable
aspect of her diet??
