I dare not say what I think. In the first place, does baby acne
actually occur at this age? I haven't seen it, so I doubt the
diagnosis. Secondly, if that is what it is, why would you ever stop
breastfeeding for something so trivial? Thirdly, why would you treat
it? I think this must be something else.
I suspect this dermatologist has run out of creative ideas
himself/herself. The cream didn't work, so the problem must be
breastfeeding. That's not a creative idea, that idea is as hackneyed as
they come, unfortunately.
