Excreted in milk of experimental animals
No reports describing use during human lactation
In adults, oral bioavailability is 14% (range: 10%-26%), indicating
inhibited absorption from GIT
Although oral absorption may be markedly different in infants than in
adults, the amount of Imitrex reaching the systemic circulation of
breastfeeding infant is probably negligible
