From the compendium of pharmaceutical specialities (CPS--Canadian
PDR):
1. Absorption from the human gastrointestinal tract 40% (good)
2. "Tranexamic acid passes over into the breastmilk during lactation
(as opposed to "into the breastmilk *not* during lactation?"), in
concentrations 1/100 of the corresponding serum levels (very good).
Further, *almost unheard of in the CPS*: "The investigators are of
the opinion that tranexamic acid can be given during lactation without
risk to the child."
