Carol,
I've had a couple of mothers from a neighboring community told
specifically by their MDs to feed every 4 hours, etc. etc. The mothers
were doing fine and didn't ask for advice. I'm wondering why, too. I've
worked in this community for 12 years now, and I haven't heard this in a
long time. I'm still wary of Ezzos because of their aggressive marketing
of Babywise to pediatricians, but don't know for sure. Another LC
(Becky?) sent me a sheet that was published by a company I've never heard
of, discussing this and sleep issues. I keep wondering if it has been
based on Ezzos but without reference to them, and is being passed as good
medical advice.
