Hi Kathy. I just happened to get back to Chicago from the Milk Bank Conf. in
San Jose yesterday. Lois Arnold, executive director is now at the office of
Baby Friendly USA/ HEA in Sandwich. Address is: 8 Jan Sebastian Way #13,
Sandwich, MA 02563 and phone: (508) 888-4041. I will comment later on the
conference. You talk about cloning and adding things to formula. Paul
Harmatz, MD from Children's Hospital Oakland was talking about the reality of
being able to extract out lactoferrin and others and putting them into
formulas. It is really scary to see what all the scientists are doing right
now. It would be great to add to the milk banked milk. Bottom line again,
let's make as much money as we can and engineer formula.
