Just wanted to say thanks to all those people who sent me nice emails in
the past day! And for those who asked re La Leche League, besides being
ONLY a Nursing Mothers Councilor I am also ONLY a La Leche Leader
Applicant! And I will never look at sore nipples in the same light again.....
I hope if I post an amusing scene you all will take it in good faith. I
delivered a pump to the NICU of a large inner city hospital last week. The
teenage Mom had very large breasts indeed, which were covered in dark blue
tattoos. The premie weighed 3 lb. And there he was, nursing away, right at
the end of the breast, looking like a pea on a drum. And Mom was so happy.
I was so moved by this so-peculiar, so amusing, so-happy scene!
